B/BOX – CD packaging made of tinplate.

The B/BOX is more than a conventional CD packaging. The B/BOX makes a sales boosting unicum out of every common data medium. Whether offset printing, silk screen printing or embossing on the lid - the B/BOX provides the most creative and versatile designing options of all CD packaging.

The precious alternative out of tinplate is a conspicuous eye-catcher on the shelf and reflects as a marketing tool the quality of the offered products. As a promotion packaging for a variety of content - from calendars to solar wafers - the B/BOX without retaining ring is the perfect packaging.

The material

Tinplate is a contemporary raw material which perfectly highlights the character of the B/BOX with its quality. It is no classical disposable material, but suitable for durable benefits in use. The B/BOX made of tinplate is stable, safe and indestructible.

The weight

Here one should not be tempted to assume in any way by the association ‘steel = high weight’ that the B/BOX is heavier than the standard plastic packaging. On the contrary, the B/BOX is made from thin tinplate and therefore only 82 grams light.

The dimensions

B/Box - die CD-Verpackung

The B/BOX corresponds to popular CD packaging with the dimensions of 142 x 125 x 11 mm. In this way existing shop systems, sales displays, security systems and racks can be used without difficulties. The B/BOX can also be dispatched as usual foil-welded and in standard packaging.
Even the B/BOX without retaining ring or the double B/BOX for 2 CDs don’t look differently. In case of the double B/BOX only the retainer for the CD is drawn somewhat higher, so that 2 CDs can be held. Since it is the same packaging in principle, the price is accordingly just the same.
